Southern Trails Resort, Unadilla GA, Dec. 2022

We stayed here 1 night heading south for the winter. It is a Coast to Coast campground. It’s our home park. It’s a very nice little campground. They are just very backward. They only take checks for my membership payment. Their credit card machine has been broken for a while and no sign of fixing it. And their computer seems to be down often.

At first she said I didn’t have a reservation. I explained that I had called and made the reservation but the computers were down that day, so she had noted it by hand. She ended up accommodating us and I only paid $4 for the night because of my membership so that’s nice.

We just stayed across empty spots and didn’t hook up.

By the way, those are pecan trees! Childhood memories of a pecan tree in our back yard in Arkansas and my Mom’s pecan pie. Still the best pecan pie I’ve ever had. Only thing close was a place in FL.
