Colorado River RV Campground, Columbus, TX
We stayed at this Thousand Trails campground outside Austin and Houston for a few days in January, 2022. It was awesome. We chose a more wooded area even though it didn’t have sewer. Only a few days so fine with us. So glad, because we got to see the deer every day!

The ”Colorado River”! No, not THE Colorado River in Colorado. This is the Colorado River in Texas!
These more developed sites have sewer hookups for $10. Nice but we chose the sites with electric and water free with our Thousand Trails membership. They have a dump site so we will dump on the way out. These sites are not by the river, so we have a better site!
A miniature golf course!!!
This is a beautiful trail we walked with Boss. The tree grew over our head making a roof across the path. Very cool!
