Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Hillsboro Beach, April 2022

We visited some great sights in Pompano Beach, Boca Raton and Hillsboro Beach including The Festival Marketplace and the Hillsboro Antique Mall.

We ate authentic Caribbean food at Calypso Restaurant. Very Yummy. I had jerk chicken and Jerry had stuffed shrimp. And then we had Caribbean bread pudding with cinnamon rum sauce; oh my goodness!

And after having had awesome Cuban food in Fort Lauderdale decided to try some more and ate at Keywest Cuban Cafe. It’s a tiny place at a Citgo gas station! We had their Cuban Cafe Con Leche as well. Very good. Although I still think the cafe con leche I had at Nicahabana in Ybor City was the best. And their Cuban sandwiches were the best!!

We took our sandwiches to the Hillsboro Inlet Park in Hillsboro Beach and ate them sitting by the water and then walked by the water a bit. Very nice!

We also drove around Hillsboro Beach! Oh my gosh! This place is so awesome! Rows and rows of houses that have a canal with boat launches in their back yard! I’ve never seen anything like it!

We visited Mizner Park in Boca Raton. A very nice shopping park.

And we went down to the beach and Pompano Beach Pier.
