Mr. Bill’s Richman’s Ice Cream and Burger Co., Winslow/Hammonton New Jersey, June 2023

Sooo, we were on our way back to camp from Philly into New Jersey and saw the billboard! Looked it up and it had outstanding reviews. Very popular. We had already had lunch in Philly so ice cream would hit the spot!
It’s a very old-fashioned restaurant opened since 1894!!! They had burgers and Philly sandwiches and lots and lots of choices of ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, sundaes, shakes, malts, and water ice! Including galati!
Since I had liked the water ice galati I got at John’s Water Ice in Philly so much, I decided to try it here. It was very good but not as good as John’s. And if I hadn’t had John’s I would have said it was excellent. John’s used really good vanilla bean ice cream but Richman’s uses soft serve. So that was one thing. But also the water ice was better at John’s.

Jerry got a chocolate malt shake. Neither of us had had a malt in forever. It was very good!
